Need rubbish removed in Kentish Town, Tufnell Park or elsewhere in NW5? MM Rubbish Clearance provides licensed rubbish removal for homes, flats, landlords and businesses across Kentish Town NW5 and North-West London — from a single mattress, sofa or appliance to full loads of unwanted furniture, household rubbish, office waste and refurbishment debris.
For the quickest quote, send us photos of what needs removing, your postcode, floor level and access information. We can usually assess the job from the photographs and give you a clear price before collection. Same-day and short-notice collections may be available.

We regularly operate across Kentish Town, Tufnell Park and the surrounding North-West London area, so same-day or short-notice rubbish removal may be possible when we already have a vehicle working nearby.
We cover residential streets around Kentish Town Road, Fortess Road, Junction Road and Tufnell Park, as well as the rest of the NW5 neighbourhood — Dartmouth Park, Gospel Oak and Queen's Crescent included.
Smaller collections can often be added to an existing North-West London route, while larger house, flat and commercial clearances are booked into a dedicated collection window. If the job is urgent, send us photographs and your NW5 postcode — we'll check the day's route and tell you the earliest collection time available.
Unwanted furniture, mattresses, appliances, boxes, bags and general household contents from houses and flats, including end-of-tenancy, landlord, probate and partial property clearances.
Upper-floor flat? That's fine. Tell us the floor level and whether the building has a lift so we can account for the access when quoting.
Sofas, sofa beds, mattresses, bed frames, wardrobes, tables, chairs, drawers and other bulky furniture. Where necessary, larger furniture can be dismantled so it can leave the property safely.
Single-item collections are available, so you don't need to wait until you have a full van of rubbish.
Unwanted fridges, washing machines, cookers and other household appliances. Tell us which appliance you have and where it is in the property when requesting your quote.
Renovating a property in Kentish Town? We collect timber, dismantled units, packaging and mixed refurbishment waste. Heavy materials such as rubble, soil and plasterboard are priced separately, because disposal costs depend heavily on weight and material type.
Rubbish removal for offices, shops, landlords and other commercial premises in and around NW5 — office furniture, shelving, packaging, equipment and general commercial clearance waste.
We price jobs according to the amount of waste, material type, weight, access and labour required. As a guide:
| Collection | Typical MM price |
|---|---|
| Minimum outside-ready collection | From £85 |
| Mattress removal | £65–£100 |
| Washing machine | From £85 |
| Cooker | From £85 |
| Under-counter fridge | From £90 |
| Standard fridge | Around £150 |
| Sofa / sofa bed | Around £125–£150 |
| ¼ load | Around £220 |
| ½ load | Around £320 |
| ¾ load | Around £420 |
| Full load (up to approximately 1 tonne) | Around £540–£650 |
These are guides rather than automatic fixed prices. Stairs, long carrying distances, difficult access, unusually heavy waste or specialist disposal can affect the final quote. The easiest way to get an accurate price is to send us photographs — we can see what you actually have rather than asking you to estimate cubic yards yourself.
There are situations where Camden Council's bulky waste service may be the cheaper option. If you only have a few suitable items, can meet the council's collection requirements and don't need an urgent collection, check the council service first.
Camden's service is currently listed at £25 for 1–5 items or up to 20 bags, £50 for 6–10 items and £75 for 11–15 items, with separate arrangements for large electrical appliances. Collections are from street level, Monday to Friday. Prices and conditions can change, so check Camden Council's current information before booking.
With MM, you show us the waste and access conditions and we quote for removing it from where it is.
This is where our Kentish Town page is different. Rather than simply saying we cover NW5, we document real collections completed in the area — with our own before-and-after photographs.
Location: Burghley Road, Kentish Town NW5 · Date: 28 July 2026 · Job: Rooftop garden terrace clearance · Waste: Chipboard furniture and panels, timber, a metal frame, wire mesh, a barbecue and bagged household waste

A customer clearing out their rooftop garden needed everything taken away — and the only way out was back through the building and down three to four flights of internal stairs. Two of our team broke the load down on the terrace and carried it down by hand. Parking is difficult on Burghley Road, so getting the van directly outside the property kept the carry to the stairs alone.
Location: Leighton Road, Kentish Town NW5 · Job: Mattress and bed frame removal

A double mattress and bed frame collected from an outside courtyard. Mattresses can be collected individually or removed as part of a larger bedroom, flat or house clearance. If the mattress is inside, tell us the floor level and whether there is a lift; if you've already brought it outside, tell us that too, as easier access can reduce the labour involved.
These local jobs are part of our growing record of completed rubbish clearances across London.
Access matters when quoting rubbish removal in NW5. Kentish Town and Tufnell Park contain plenty of flats and converted properties where the collection isn't simply a matter of pulling a van onto a driveway.
For large furniture, we'll also consider whether dismantling is needed before the item can safely leave the property. Giving us this information at the quotation stage helps avoid surprises when the team arrives.
If you're unsure about parking, send us the address or postcode with your enquiry and we'll assess the collection requirements.
MM Rubbish Clearance Ltd is an Upper Tier registered waste carrier — Waste Carrier Registration CBDU418527 (check the public register). We also carry £5 million Public Liability Insurance.
Waste collected by our team is transported for appropriate disposal or recycling through authorised waste facilities. That matters, because choosing someone simply because they have a van and offer a cheap collection doesn't tell you where your rubbish will end up. Our business is built around a professional, traceable rubbish clearance service. How to check a waste carrier licence →
Our Kentish Town service extends across the surrounding North-West London area and neighbouring North London postcodes, including Tufnell Park, Dartmouth Park, Gospel Oak, Camden Town, Holloway, Highgate and surrounding neighbourhoods. If you're outside NW5, send us your postcode — we regularly combine collections across nearby North-West and North London areas to keep routes efficient.

MM advertise next day clearance and they are true to their word. They do their work efficiently and the prices are very reasonable. I didn’t even need to be there - just put the rubbish out, communicated by WhatsApp, agreed a price, they sent a photo to show the space was cleared, payment made, job done. Highly recommended.Posted on Google![]()

Although we had a planned move date and had recycled a lot of stuff in preparation, after a last weekend of family clearing their student art and other bits, we needed a final rubbish clearance at short notice and due to the amount it would have needed several more trips to the recycling centre with our small car 🤦♀️ I found MM through google search, and chose due to previous good reviews. We were not disappointed, Ovi messaged clear instructions about the quote and were happy to come into house to collect, in the end we left all in the front garden to enable our deep clean to begin. MM came on time to complete the pick up quickly and quietly removed all the items without any disturbances, very impressive job. Would use again. Highly recommend. We booked MM Rubbish clearance again to remove moving in rubbish accumulation from unpacking package and some kitchen waste items. Another fast and efficient solution Thank you M M team.Posted on Google![]()

After our move, we contacted Ovi from MM Rubbish Clearance because we had a lot to get rid of. They were very responsive, reasy the process, and very flexible. We ended up having more waste to dispose of (including heavy items) than expected, but they still collected it without any problems. I highly recommend them for their fast, efficient, and stress-free service at a very fair price.Posted on Google![]()

We're not building our local coverage by creating hundreds of identical postcode pages. We're building it from real collections. As we complete jobs around Kentish Town, Tufnell Park and North-West London, we document the type of waste removed, the access conditions and genuine before-and-after photographs — so you can see the work we actually do locally.
Small outside-ready collections can start from around £85. A mattress is typically £65–£100, sofas are generally around £125–£150, and larger collections are priced according to volume, weight, waste type and labour. Send photographs for an accurate quote.
Potentially, yes. Same-day rubbish collection is subject to route and vehicle availability. Send us the photos, postcode and access details and we'll tell you the earliest available collection window.
For a small number of suitable items that meet its collection conditions, Camden Council can be considerably cheaper. A private clearance company is more appropriate when you need internal removal, help with stairs, larger loads, urgent collection or additional labour.
Yes. We remove waste from flats as well as houses — including roof terraces, as on our Burghley Road job in Kentish Town. Tell us the floor level, number of flights and whether there is a lift when requesting your quote.
A standard sofa or sofa bed is typically around £125–£150, depending on size and access. Difficult stairs, dismantling or a long carry may affect the price.
No. We can collect items from inside the property. Outside-ready collections are generally quicker because less labour is involved.
Not necessarily. If the rubbish is accessible and we've agreed the collection arrangements beforehand, some jobs can be completed without the customer being present.
Yes. We carry out end-of-tenancy, landlord and property clearances, including furniture, mattresses, appliances and general household contents.
Camden runs the Regis Road reuse and recycling centre in Kentish Town, with its own rules on residents, vehicles and the types of waste accepted. Check Camden Council's current Regis Road guidance before travelling, particularly if you're using a van or commercial vehicle. If you'd rather have the waste collected from your property, send us photographs for a private collection quote.
No. Camden's bulky waste collection picks items up from outside your home at street level, Monday to Friday, so you need to bring everything down yourself. If items are upstairs, on a roof terrace or need dismantling, a private collection that carries them out for you is usually the better option.
Yes. We carry out full and partial house and flat clearances across Kentish Town, Tufnell Park, Dartmouth Park and Gospel Oak, including probate, landlord and end-of-tenancy clearances. Full-load clearances are typically £540–£650 per van load depending on weight and waste type.
Mattress removal is typically £65–£100, depending on size, where it is in the property and whether a bed frame or divan base is going too. Outside-ready mattresses are the quickest and cheapest to collect.
Most residential streets in NW5 are inside Camden controlled parking zones, and spaces are hard to find on many of them. If you can provide a visitor permit or an off-street space, tell us when you book — it keeps loading quick. If not, send your postcode and we'll plan where to load.
If you need rubbish removed from a house, flat, garden, office, shop or rental property in Kentish Town or Tufnell Park, send us your postcode, photos of everything to be removed, the floor level, stairs or lift information and parking or loading details. We'll assess the job and give you a clear quote along with our next available collection time.
Rubbish removed, space restored.
