Garden Waste Removal in Highgate N6 – Cut Back On Site, and Heavier Than It Looks

MM Rubbish Clearance cleared a large garden in Highgate, N6. The Clearance and Access

This was not a collection but a cut-and-clear, a different job. Limbs had to be brought down and sawn into sections before a single piece could be carried anywhere, so most of the labour came before any loading. That is what the third pair of hands is for: two cutting in the rear garden, one moving the sections out through the side entrance to the drive. A wide side return makes that work; without one the same garden is a far longer day.

Then the part people do not budget for. Two landscaping rocks and a log take up almost no space and outweigh every branch, pot and bag on that drive together. Garden loads are the one case where volume stops being a fair guide: cut greenery is mostly air, while stone, soil, turf and wet root balls are dense, and the transfer station weighs what comes off the van. Responsible Disposal

The load was collected within the London Borough of Haringey and taken to a licensed recycling and waste transfer station. The Result
