The Clearance and Access

There is a green wheelie bin standing in both photographs, and it is the whole point of this job: none of what was lying on the lawn could go in it. A fence replacement produces treated timber, rubble and soil, and none of that is garden waste whatever the job is called. Old panels are awkward rather than heavy. A six-foot panel does not fold, and half-rotten ones come apart in your hands halfway down a garden path. So they were broken down at the pile and carried out flat, the aggregate bags taken two at a time, and the small amount of real green waste kept separate as the van filled. Responsible Disposal

The load was collected within the London Borough of Barnet and taken to a licensed recycling and waste transfer station. The load split three ways: treated fence timber to wood recycling rather than composting, the rubble and soil as hardcore, and the small amount of green waste on its own — the separation set out on our responsible rubbish clearance page. The Result
