MM Rubbish Clearance was founded by Ovi (Akpovi Ejeta) in December 2019, after a frustrating experience trying to dispose of unwanted furniture during a house move in 2018.
Items in good condition were rejected by donation centres because they were missing fire labels. The waste removal companies he contacted were either too expensive, unreliable, or impossible to arrange at short notice. What should have been a simple part of moving house turned into days of stress and wasted phone calls.
That experience exposed a clear gap in the London market — people needed a professional, licensed rubbish clearance company that responded quickly, quoted transparently, and actually turned up when promised.
So Ovi built one.
