MM Rubbish Clearance started in 2019 with no family connections in the waste industry, no big backing, and no blueprint to follow — just one van, determination, and a simple idea: make rubbish clearance easier, honest, and stress-free for people across North & East London.

I’m Ovi, the founder of MM Rubbish Clearance. When I began this journey, I had zero experience in waste or recycling. I learned everything hands-on — from how transfer stations work, to recycling streams, to what really happens to mattresses, sofas, electronics and household clearances once they leave someone’s home.

Very quickly, the recycling side became my favourite part of the job. Understanding how to divert waste away from landfill, how to process materials properly, and how to do things legally and responsibly is what shaped the whole foundation of MM Rubbish Clearance.

Over the years we’ve grown into a trusted local service covering Islington N1 and a 10-mile radius, including N5, N7, E2, E5, E8, EC1 and surrounding areas.
