1) What types of rubbish do you remove?
We remove most non-hazardous household and commercial waste, including bagged rubbish, bulky items, furniture, appliances and general clearance waste.
2) What do you class as “rubbish”?
Rubbish includes unwanted household items, clutter, packaging, broken furniture, small appliances and general clear-out materials that do not require specialist hazardous disposal.
3) Do you take mattresses?
Yes. We collect mattresses of all sizes. Pricing depends on size, access and whether it’s a standalone collection or part of a larger load.
4) Do you remove fridges and freezers?
Yes. Fridges and freezers are collected and disposed of through authorised facilities. These items may require additional handling and compliant disposal steps.
5) Do you take washing machines and other appliances?
Yes. We collect washing machines, cookers, dishwashers, TVs and other electrical items (WEEE), subject to safe access and lifting requirements.
6) Do you remove mixed construction waste?
Yes. We can remove renovation and mixed construction waste such as timber, plasterboard and rubble, subject to assessment.
7) How do you price light bulky waste?
Light household bulky waste is typically priced by volume — based on the space it occupies in the van (cubic yards / quarter load, half load, etc.).
8) How do you price mixed construction waste?
Mixed construction waste is priced primarily by weight, because disposal costs are weight-based and significantly higher for heavy materials.
9) Why does heavy waste cost more?
Heavier materials increase disposal charges, reduce vehicle capacity and can require extra handling. Pricing reflects the true cost of compliant disposal.
10) Do you offer same-day rubbish removal?
Yes. Same-day slots are available depending on route availability and confirmation time.
11) Do you provide a Waste Transfer Note (WTN)?
Yes. A Waste Transfer Note is provided for every compliant collection.
12) Do you provide digital Waste Transfer Notes?
Yes. We can issue WTNs digitally upon request for record-keeping and compliance.
13) Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. MM Rubbish Clearance is a licensed waste carrier (CBDU418527). We dispose of waste through authorised facilities.
14) Are you insured and compliant?
Yes. We hold appropriate insurance and operate in line with waste regulations and safe handling procedures.
15) Do you provide a two-man team for loading?
Yes. Where required, we can attend with two people to load and remove items safely — particularly for bulky or heavy items and stairs access.
16) Do your team members wear branded uniform?
Yes. Our team attends in branded uniform and appropriate PPE, including high-visibility workwear where required.
17) What items do you not remove?
We do not remove hazardous or prohibited waste such as asbestos, chemicals, paint/solvents, fuels, gas bottles, medical waste or explosives.
18) How do I get a fixed quote?
