What are Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Charges?
From 1st January 2023 new legislation from the Environment Agency came into effect regarding the storage and disposal of waste upholstered domestic seating containing Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs). Therefore, as a responsible waste carrier we dispose of any POPs items separately and safely. This affects any upholstered dining or office chairs, sofas, cushions/bean bags and is included in the price you pay at the checkout.
